There's always an excuse to stay longer in London.

There is so much to see and do in Covent Garden at the beating heart of London life. And there’s always the potential to do absolutely nothing at all, for as long as you can. Think of our resident team as the friends with all the best recommendations. Brunch, ballet, boutiques, cocktails, theatre, exhibitions and the little known corners of the city that we think you’ll love. Closer to home, join us for dinner in Indigo, our restaurant celebrating British independent producers. After dinner, the city is your oyster, but perhaps linger a little longer in the vivacious Lobby Bar, and tell us about your day first.

A stay curated for history and craft lovers with tickets to see the Bayeux Tapestry at the British Museum. The greatest story ever stitched, back on English soil for the first time in nearly a millennium.

Just a short stroll through Covent Garden and Bloomsbury brings you to the British Museum, our official partner for this landmark season. Here, one of the most anticipated cultural events of our lifetime unfolds: the Bayeux Tapestry on view, a loan from France in a historic, once-in-a-generation agreement. Across 70 metres, 58 scenes and more than 600 embroidered figures, the Bayeux Tapestry tells the story of the Norman Conquest – the last successful invasion of England and one of history’s greatest tales. Displayed flat in one continuous length for the first time in the UK, this is the tapestry as it has never been seen before, and a moment unlikely to come again. Experience the story with an overnight stay, exhibition tickets for two and a cocktail in the Lobby Bar inspired by the threads of the tale.
